Payment for professional services is due at the time dental treatment is provided. It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Our office accepts payments by cash, checks, and Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. We now accept CareCredit and if you need more information on trying to apply, please call us at 256-238-9233. If you have any questions about payment, ask us! We will thoroughly explain your choices and work hard to accommodate your needs.
We participate with many insurance carriers, and are a preferred provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, Southland National, Delta Dental Premier, MetLife, and United Concordia. If your insurance covers treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Insurance policies vary, so we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims.
We file dental insurance as a courtesy to our patients. However, your dental contract is between you and your insurance company. We cannot be responsible for the way your insurance company handles your claim or the different benefit restrictions placed on your contract. Most dental contracts pay by a percentage after a yearly deductible has been met and restrictions are placed on composite fillings on posterior teeth. Insurance companies set their own schedules and each company uses a different set of fees they consider "UCR" meaning their allowable fee per procedure.
To help us with your insurance filing, please complete the insurance questions on our questionnaire. Please remember that insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
